Coralie de Seynes

Two years after working in womenswear at ‘Hermès’, Coralie de Seynes launched her eponymous fashion jewelry label in 2009. Working with leather and brass, she offers easy-to-wear and accessible jewelry combining character and quality.

Emerging Parisian designer Coralie de Seynes graduated in fashion design from Esmod Paris and worked in womenswear at Hermès under the direction of Jean-Paul Gaultier. While there, she quickly started to create and sell her own jewelry designs which received positive feedback and appraisal from her fellow stylist colleagues and models.

After travelling from London to Australia for a few months, she came back to Paris and launched her eponymous label in 2009. Her signature style uses a combination of brass chains, leather and enamel. Coralie’s jewelry is easy-to-wear and very accessible with the feel of wearing a contemporary yet valuable piece. It is aimed for the modern and busy woman who likes to include simple but noticeable creations to her wardrobe. She likes to describe her jewelry as easy-to-wear for everyday life.

Since the launch of her collection, she has collaborated with Bonpoint by creating brooches for the children fashion show in 2010. Coralie also won the “Concours de Style” award for jewelry in 2011, gaining recognition by a jury of professionals including Grazia assistant editor, Prêt-a-Porter Paris director and the designer Anne-Valerie Hash. This really started people talking and Coralie’s name began to be heard around the industry.

Coralie’s signature creations of finely woven metal with soft plaited leather are inspired by a combination of equestrian spirit and nautical knots. She kept from her years spent at Hermès the love of beautiful leather. The collections can be found in France in stores like Merci and Franck & Fils, as well as in concept stores around Japan and the UK.

All ‘Coralie de Seynes’ creations are handcrafted in France and the final assembly and touch are done by Coralie herself in her studio in Paris.
