‘CUISINE FRANÇAISE’… or the art of transforming jewelry into a unique meal experience. Like a chef, Catie proudly creates and transforms the finest materials into distinct and refined pieces of jewelry in her atelier in Paris. Her collections offer effortless chic and elegant flair to wear from office to going-out.

 

‘CUISINE FRANÇAISE’ is the creation of Catherine Vautier, a self-taught designer who likes to compare her work and label to those of a chef.

The name, ‘CUISINE FRANCAISE’, came to be when Catie was looking for a less conventional name for her jewelry label while still representing the French savoir-faire. If you can relate the art of jewelry creation with culinary arts, then the name, ‘CUISINE FRANÇAISE’ perhaps is not so far-fetched.

Catie always searches and picks the best ingredients for her art: her collections are made of the finest material such as lambskin, gold-plated brass and semi-precious stones. Mixing porcelain, fabric or leather with gemstones she offers creations that are unique and refined. She brings particular attention to the quality of the material she combines in each piece and the artisans she works with produces in the highest level of quality.

Catie sketches, forms and finishes each piece that is made to order like a chef preparing a dish ordered at a restaurant.  Her collections include necklaces, bracelets and earrings that are easy-to-wear and versatile. ‘CUISINE FRANÇAISE’ is for the modern woman who is effortlessly chic but with a bit of whim.

Since its creation, ‘CUISINE FRANÇAISE’ collections have graced the fashion glossies in France such as Elle, Grazia, Be and Marie Claire.

Her recipes are 100% French! Each piece is proudly designed and handmade in her atelier in the center of Paris.
